4 months ago with 13 notesSo today, I hung out with Lisa, Jessica, & Josie. As you can see, we saw all 3 of those movies.
Thor was all right. To be honest, it was sort of a letdown. I heard so many great reviews about it & when I finally saw it, it was sort of cliche in some aspects. Besides that, I thought the acting was pretty good, the fighting scenes were well choreographed, & it was very entertaining. If they end up making a sequel, I hope it’ll be much more intriguing?
Bridesmaids was HILARIOUS. I loved all the dirty humour. Kristen Wiig did a fantastic job as Annie & Rose Byrne was equally great. I didn’t expect to see Ellie Kemper! However, her character was absolutely lovely. It was such a great movie with such an amazing cast of women.
Pirates 4 was such a blast! I loved everything about it! Johnny Depp is such a diverse actor & he never ceases to amaze me as Capt. Jack Sparrow. Penelope Cruz was fantastic. However, I really REALLY loved Sam Claflin & Astrid Berges-Frisbey as Philip & Syrena. Their relationship was just absolutely loveable! I actually find theirs more interesting than Will & Elizabeth. (Well, probably since one’s a mermaid & the other’s a missionary) I hope they go more in depth in the next 2 films! I even stayed all the way to the end to see the alternate ending. HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY.
